A Better Overnight Stop Than Most People Expect
A lot of overnight RV stops are just a parking lot with a hookup. Dad’s has a real park atmosphere, with shaded sites, a full clubhouse, and neighbors who are actually friendly. If you’ve been on the road all day and want somewhere that feels like more than a pit stop, this is the place.
Victoria also happens to sit right at the crossroads of Highways 77, 87, and 59, which makes it a natural overnight stop whether you’re heading toward Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, or the Gulf Coast. It’s one of those spots that’s genuinely convenient to pull into no matter which direction you’re coming from.
Who Stays Overnight at Dad's RV Park
Travelers making their way across Texas or the Gulf Coast region make up a big share of our overnight guests. Folks heading to or from the coast, families on road trips, and full-time RVers working their way through South Texas all stop through regularly.
We also see overnight guests who are scoping out Victoria before booking a longer stay. If you’re thinking about coming back for a week or a month and want to check the park out first, a night or two is a great way to do that.
Victoria, TX Is Worth More Than Just an Overnight
If your schedule has a little flexibility, Victoria rewards an extra day. The Texas Zoo is a genuinely good time, downtown has solid restaurants and local spots worth walking around, and the Museum of the Coastal Bend is worth a couple of hours if you’re into regional history. The Gulf Coast is about 90 minutes away if you want to make a beach run before you move on.
